Circle Around Baby Quilt
This quilt—an original design—is a little bit minimalist, a little bit graphic, and a whole bunch of soft. Twenty circles, each created out of 4 quarter circles in pale blue and pale green, on a soft white background. It’s technically a baby-sized quilt but works great for older kids too … or as a lap blanket for an adult. It’s machine-pieced and big-stitch hand-quilted.
Note: This quilt was gently washed and air dried upon completion. Washing a quilt causes it to get lots of crinkles. Some folks love this look, others prefer it flatter. It will naturally flatten out with time and use, or you can iron it (with care) if you like.
